Description

From the Matrix team comes a comic book adaptation
  'Speed Racer' (that is actually the character's name)
  races in futuristic car races for his dad's little team,
  until the big boys want to snap him up, and threaten
  dire consequences if he loses.

  That's pretty much the story. The film is so colourful
  it threatens to burn your eyeballs. Emile Hirsch (The
  Girl Next Door) is adequate as the lead, Christina
  Ricci has never looked better but doesn't get to do much.

  Great for the kids but a little too long and ramblings of
  plot exposition in the middle slow the pace too much.
  It will hold the attention til Indy on the 22nd May.
